Our Expertise

At Ofcare Group, we recruit exceptional care professionals for a wide range of settings, with a strong focus on children’s residential care homes. Our candidates are carefully selected for their experience, values, and ability to thrive in high-demand, regulated environments. From frontline support to senior leadership, we supply staff who understand the complexities of care — especially within services supporting vulnerable children and young people.

Support Workers

We supply experienced support workers for children’s care homes, particularly those supporting young people with EBD (emotional and behavioural difficulties), trauma histories, or complex behavioural needs. Our candidates are trained in safeguarding, behaviour management, and building positive, therapeutic relationships.

Responsible Individuals

Ofcare Group works with Responsible Individuals who bring governance, oversight, and strategic leadership to children’s homes and multi-service care organisations. They understand both Ofsted and CQC expectations and are committed to maintaining high standards of care and compliance.

Team Leaders / Shift Leaders

We recruit team leaders with a proven ability to lead shifts in both children’s and adult care settings. These individuals ensure smooth day-to-day operations, supervise staff, and uphold care quality and safety — especially during high-pressure situations.

Deputy Managers

Our deputy managers support registered managers with operational oversight, staff development, and compliance monitoring. Many have experience in both children’s services and adult provision, offering flexible leadership across multiple care environments.

Senior Residential Support Workers

Our senior support staff provide leadership and consistency within residential care teams. They bring advanced skills in shift coordination, incident response, and supporting less experienced colleagues — all while keeping young people at the centre of care.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of roles do you recruit for?

We specialise in recruitment for children’s residential care homes, including roles such as support workers, senior support staff, team leaders, deputy managers, registered managers, and responsible individuals. All candidates are vetted and trained for regulated care environments.

How do I apply for a job through Ofcare Group?

Simply visit our Jobs page, fill in your details using the dropdown form, and one of our specialist recruiters will get in touch. We’ll match you with roles that suit your experience and preferences.

Are your candidates fully vetted?

Yes. Every candidate we place has undergone a full enhanced DBS check, reference checks, and right to work verification. We also ensure all candidates have relevant safeguarding and residential care experience.

Can you provide emergency or short-notice cover?

Yes — we understand the urgency often required in care settings. We can often provide high-quality, vetted staff within 24–72 hours, depending on your needs and location.

What kind of experience do I need?

Most of our roles require experience in children’s residential care, particularly with young people who have emotional or behavioural difficulties (EBD). If you're new to the sector, we may still have entry-level roles depending on your background and training.

Do I need an up-to-date DBS certificate?

Yes — we require all candidates to have an enhanced DBS check. If you don’t have one currently, we can help guide you through the process of applying.

Do you support new services or homes opening soon?

We regularly assist providers preparing for Ofsted registration or expanding their homes. While we don’t promote consultancy, our recruitment service is built on deep industry knowledge, ensuring you start with the right team.

Can I apply if I’m looking for flexible or part-time work?

Definitely. We work with a variety of homes offering full-time, part-time, and bank (flexible) roles. Let us know your availability, and we’ll find a position that suits your schedule.

Will I receive support after placement?

Yes. We stay in touch with both the candidate and the employer to ensure a successful placement. Whether you need guidance, feedback, or further opportunities, our team is here to support your care career.

If you didn’t find the answer you were looking for, we’re here to help. Just click the button below to ask us directly — whether you’re a care provider or a candidate, we’ll make sure you get the information you need.
